Abhishek Rana

Curiosity has always been the common thread in everything I do. I enjoy understanding how things work—whether that’s a backend system, a cloud setup, or a story unfolding on screen. I’ve previously worked with AWS and Oracle Cloud and have hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, which gave me a strong foundation in reliability, performance, and problem-solving. Today, I’m actively learning and working with newer technologies, constantly experimenting and pushing myself beyond what I already know.

Outside of work, music is my default companion. I lean toward rock in its many forms—alternative, post-rock, progressive—but I’m always open to anything that sounds honest and well-crafted. Movies are another passion. I’m drawn to films that take creative risks, where visuals, sound, and storytelling come together to create something memorable. If a movie stays in my head long after it ends, it’s done its job.

Food, for me, is about experience rather than preference. I enjoy discovering places that serve genuinely good food, regardless of cuisine or hype. If you know a spot that’s worth eating at, chances are I’ll be interested. Most days, you’ll find me building, learning, listening to music, and quietly enjoying the process of getting better at what I do.
