This project was conceptualised by U&I when verified leads for resources was a need of the hour for the entire country. Using Strapi as our backend, a postgresql database and React.js as our frontend, we created this project in a low turnaround time of 2 weeks. We also created a backend mechanism using which leads could be verified by the volunteers and published only once verified. Once we hosted the project on AWS to handle scale, we were happy that we could create an impact.
Impact Driven
BreatheIndia was the need of the hour when India was facing its highest peak in cases. This system allowed the volunteers in U&I to build one of the largest resources in the country for COVID help and resources.
Rapid Development
The team at U&I Trust reached out just before the second wave in India was getting momentum. The response time was the most critical here. A small core team got together as a hackathon on two weekends to deliver the whole project.
Best of tech
Even though the product delivery was rapid, we made sure that the tech used was extensible. The product was built using Strapi for backend, ReactJs for frontend, and Google DataStudio for reporting.
